Starting tomorrow my "other half" is on a two week vaccation and hopes to hunt all of it. I hope I can convince him to take the camera with him (if he knows how to use it) We might even get some snow by weekend.

Didn't do much last week, had 40 mph winds. The days we did go, wasn't much moving. Looks as though most the other hunters are starting to move down from the high country already.

Thanks everyone.

Last weekend we didn't get much hunting in. Saturday there was 40 mph winds. Sundays we hunted a short while, never found anything to run and called it a day.

Jason (my "other half") started his 2 week vacation Wednesday.
He treed a nice big bear that first day, he thinks it was the big one we treed once earlier this year, but he didn't take the camera.
Thursday there wasn't much moving, so he put the dogs down on an old cat track he'd seen and let them cold trail that a while before he eventually got bored and pulled them off.
Today he treed a real little one right off the highway. Took these pics standing on the blacktop. He's not a very good camera man. :P

Thanksgiving Day - Nov 25

Aspen and Gamble up on the hood first thing this morning. They were supposed to be "cleaning out" but as you can see they are too excited to go.
