I wish I would have thought of that before I bought it Doug   I myself would rather read Obe Coreys books, Slash Ranch hounds or several other better Big game novels.

It's an enjoyable read and a good addition to any houndsman's book collection. Paul Conway.

I have the book and I enjoyed it. The Jaguar stories are the best. I have the book on cassette tape. The stories are told by Dale Lee himself. I had it transferred from cassette to CD format. It is 19 CD's with around 21-22 hours of audio. I believe that the book was written from these dictated tapes. There are only a few friends of Dales that have the tapes. If anyone is interested in the tapes P.M. me or give me a call at 520-248-1350.

Call of the Hounds (Del Cameron) is an excellent read and one of my favorite. He's got stories like very few can share. I learned a lot about big game hounds from this book.

I finally got my copy the other day. It took my local bookstore almost 8 months to get it for me and it costed me 230$, but I think it was worth every penny. -Its the first book about hounds I ever read, but this is a book I was not able to put away once started.
I'd be real happy if any of you guys had tips of other books about hounds.
