anaplasmosis?

has anybody had anaplasmosis ? my question is did your dog ever recover with the same stamina as before.Also did you have ahard time keeping weight on them. my dog has it and we are on the 2nd round of doxacycline. the 1st didn't get rid of it.any and all input would be great.
