DC30 Battery Life Settings

Post by Amonty »

How do I change the setting on my astro system to extend the battery life for my DC30? Isn't there like 3 ranges that I can choose from?

Yes there are 3 settings on the DC 30 5 sec 10 sec and 30 sec. The faster the update rate the shorter the battery life. To change the settings turn the collar on and go to the dog list and select the dog you want to change. From this screen hit the menu button and select the "change comm settings" option.

These instructions are in your owners manual. If you lost that like I did you can find it on Garmin's website.

Neff ,
Where in the owners manual would it be? I turned the manual inside/out and never could find it. I guess I need to look a little closer. Thanks
