Anyone Coyote hunt in Idaho?

I am from Idaho and i am looking into buying some hounds for coyotes. And was wondering what kind of success you have with running them in Idaho.

Troy -I guess your talking hounds. I have a small pack of runningwalker/july hounds I brought when I moved here. Just got the collars and stuff lined out should be starting pretty soon and i'll let you know. Been hunting Stags in the meen time. Stunt.

stuntman: How is the Stag deal working out for you? What type of terrain are you hunting

Workin great, high desert, some farm land and pasture.

Stuntman : Nice looking stags .Wish we could use them up in Maine . Might work on some large clear-cuts ,but we are hunting mostly all commercial forest areas.

I used them in the east with bay-ups or walking bays when the hounds couldnt get the coyote completely stopped. We never shot unless a road was going to cause a problem , it all dog or nothing lol. I know what your talking about with the timber.

Stuntman- Yes i am talking hounds. I will be back In Idaho in October and Hopefully i get stationed in Colorado and i want to buy some hounds for coyotes and bobcat. Me and my old man call coyotes but have never had hounds, and i want to get started when i get back to the states. Hopefully you have good success, let me know how it goes.

Stuntman- Yes i am talking with hounds. Me and my old man call them in but haven't ever hunted with hounds. I am hoping to be stationed in Colorado and after that i plan on going back to Idaho. Let me know what kind of success you have.
