Not so sure of your fisher comments . I did hear but did not verify that 2 hounds were killed by a fisher up in the big woods last year.

google-o pedia ( Fisher) a natural born liar. LOL! Known to drink two twelve packs of natural light in a mornings fishing, stretch the truth behyond belief, and make rude and annoying sounds after two bologna sandwiches, and four pickeled eggs.

Now do you want to turn your dogs out on that? LOL!

A fisher is basically a large weasel there fast and tough. When they tree they dont like to stay put especailly at night, one of their favorite tricks is to go from tree to tree like a squirrel. I have had them go for up to 100 yards before coming back down to start running again. If you have a lock down tree dog that doesn't pay attention you will spend alot of time going to empty trees.

Your talking out your ass. Never said couldn't handle said they put up one hell of a fight. Here's a link I just found on them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fisher_(animal)
