Just watched the last episode. They are out of control. Mike Smith seemed to have them figured out, though.

Damn, I feel for you guys. Sounds like a bunch of bullshit. They should just make it legal like it is here in Maine. We can sell anything but the meat on deer, bear and moose, and the plummage of turkeys and waterfowl. We have no unusual amount of poaching just for galls.

They should focus more on people leaving bears in the woods than people leaving the woods with a bear and a gall. I'm sure that is alot more common.

The last episode was on Hog hunters. Are those wild hogs even native to California? They are trying to protect a feral animals?

They are a feral hog. Fish and game saw a chance to make money. Tags jumped from $7 for a book of 5 to around $40 a tag.

maby i missed something in the last show, so just because the warden found a pig head on the side of the road it must have been a poacher ??? iv field dressed game on the side of the road dose that make me a poacher ? and then they went to the guys house for a "knock and talk" searched his freezer found a pig head WITH A TAG, so unless that pig that the warden found had two heads why did they continue to harass him so much ? the one warden told him if we find out you knew anything and didnt tell us theres gonna be problems. what kind of shit is that ??? they cant make him self incriminate himself thats a direct violation of his 5th ammendment right. the other part that pissed me off was when the warden went to the coffee shop parking lot "looking for trucks with dog boxes" isnt that considered profileing ? well i guess if you have a dog box you must be a poacher
