Just got started in runing coyotes. I only have one dog that can really run rite now and I am haveing a hard time getting any results . Do I need to run with more dogs of do I need to just keep getting out and hunting . Thanks for your time.

1st off are you out to shoot or catch ? also do you have anyone hunting wuth you ? if you have a few guys hunting with you and your out to shoot, then one hound is fine. if you out to catch, one hound will make it tough.

Where are you at in Michigan? You should be able to shoot a yote in front of your dog provided he can start and run one. I like to hunt with one dog, but i dont care to shoot any yotes. I also like to hunt with a bunch of dogs, any running is fun.

As long as he is running well, enjoy the chase. Learn the crossings and try to get in front of them.

i dont care to shoot any coyotes i just like to run them. i do have some freinds with dogs but they are not always around. next year i will have another dog . a puppy i got this year but still want to have fun hunting this year. i love the sport just want some ponters. thanks for your time and god bless

Having the same problem. Where in Michigan are you? If not to far we should give it a try. I have a good cold trailer he is just slow and I am having trouble getting other dogs to him.

i just got into it myself it is hard at first but stay with it like was said above enjoy the music and watch the crossings.here they run about the same circles time after time.We killed 2 in 2 days after i got enough friends to go to cut it off,I ran these yote 5 or six times they ran the same way good luck.
