what would be the cheapest way to go on a lion hunt, the esiest area to get a tag. I would like to try it once, could a good bobcat coldtrailer put one in a tree, i know luck happens, but do u hunt lions with ur catdogs or are ur lion dogs just put down on them big kitties? aint got alot of cash but been thinkin of sellin the ol'ladies bike and tryin it once(she dont ride it anyways, always wants 2 be on the back of mine)Any suggestions????

cheapiset is utah with only having to purchase a $30 non-resident pursuit only tag. If your hound is putting up bobcats your set.
all other western states have a higher non-resident license then does utah....montana is $340 and you get to harvest but only if the quota is still open.

And it should be in my opinion, what a ausome animal, and you all are so lucky you have them to run with your hounds, wish we had them.
In my opinon a brute tom lion is worth alot more than a bull elk because elk are alot easier to come by. A true 15" trophy tom lion is getting as hard to harvest as a 200 inch mule deer. Let me put it this way, I gave up elk hunting over ten years ago but buy an over the counter tom lion tag every year, and that pretty well shows where my heart is.........
