Thats just it. Its not bitching its trying to keep the fight up we have been lucky dam lucky so far we need to never forget just how fast we can have it taken from us. Yes Was. Or. and a few others have lost it there and just think they dont have 1/4 the tree hugging bunny lovers we have here. Also I'm not sure on this but was there DFG in bed with the HSUS like ours. you should live in nc. they waste more money on worthless ventures. they act like they are in the military, they spent three years trying to convict myself and 3 others of around 44 bear charges each. went to trial and when they were asked to present their evidence they had nonr to present except a statement from a kid that didn't hunt with us cause he got caught killing one on the parkway he tried to stick us to free himself. they got caught with pergery and attempting to frame us. so only good outcome was the are not allowed to even check our license or speak to us.

Mofo if I recall correctly it wasnt your fish and game that took your hunting away, it was the people. Our problem isnt the people its our Fish and Game department. And complaining is a starting point. If enough people get mad enough maybe we can get some changes done on the inside of the department.

Montana, they suck. They manage people not animals. I think the inforcement devitions all go to the same school . The school of see how big of a ass you can be and we will move you up the rank's . Watch the show on california's wardens montana wardens are the same. If you are out and about you must be doing something illegal. What ever happen to probebale cause with these wardens ????

Rookie, I'd have to not agree with you. Down in my area the game worden that graduated from the school your speaking about finally retired. We got another guy that was from the midwest and was raised around hounds. It's actually kinda nice. Last year he was out on patrol and stopped to check on me and two buddies while we were in the middle of a bobcat race. He sat and visited and then walked in with us to the rockpile that the cat was in. By the end of the trip he knew all our dogs names and was shootin the shit with us like we were old war buddies. When we got back to the truck he shook our hands and said thanks for the hunt like a real human. He has run into us since and has never given us any issues. We treat him with respect and he does the same.

As far as the FWP in general, I really don't agree with all their management techniques, but we seem to have plenty of game to run. I would rather they base their decisions off of science as opposed to emotion.

yea bear hunter i believe you are right the I-5 corridor voted it out back when i was to young to vote or even know what hound hunting is. i was just sayin people from california are lucky to be hound hunting still especially with the number of anti's.

Yes Mofo we are blessed with some of the best hunting anywhere. We owe that to the hard work of a few people who fought for our rights. Most people here in Ca support ethical hunting even the ones who live in the city. The problem comes when they are fed a one side argument. Not knowing better they vote what they have been told. Our problem is with the F & G department. Believe it or not they are not pro hunters and would like to eliminate all hound hunting and control the rest of the hunting so closely that it really would not be worth doing anymore.

yea its pretty sad when fish and game cares more about outlawing hunting then actually managing the wildlife. most the game wardens i have encountered have been decent to deal with and are hunters themselfs so as long as you are doing everything legal they dont harrass you. but there are a few assholes that think they are above everyone and abuse their power. The day they outlaw hunting is the day i become an outlaw!!

california is a joke , with wardens tracking our dogs for us theres nothing worse than getting to the tree just to find the warden waiting with the dogs, and now there using Satellite Imagery to watch you while your hunting. far as im concerned id rather not hunt at all that be harassed the whole time.

sheimer im with Rookie on this one, I used to work part time for the local game warderns side business, one day while driving to a job with the other guy, who also ran hounds, and the warden, the warden said that he considers all houndsmen outlaws. didnt supprize me at all, he harsses houndsmen at the local coffee shop, and accuses people of hunting out of season while roading dogs.
