Not sure what you are asking here. Are your hounds running them? Are the bobs jumping tree? What exactly is happening? Generally, you need a bobcat hound.

It sounds like your dogs are false treeing. The cat cant stay in the tree if it wasnt there in the first place..if there not false treeing then they are quiting and you will probably never running a bobcat. btw how don you know its a bobcat and not a deer or coyote?

I have heard the same thing from alot of guys back east. Some are having luck keeping them up in the dark by using a red lens on their light.

Run those cats in the day light hrs. Coon hunting is a night sport, but run those cats in the day time. At least give it a try.

i hunt missouri and the tips i have is,stay as quiet as possible when comming into the tree and keep your lights off, when you get there with gun loaded make a shot as quick as posssible,or else youl be makin trees all night just for em to jump out, some house cats are same way,not usually but its happened to me before...some coons jump but not alot,an ollld guy i hunt with sometimes made 4 trees on same coon and thot it wasa cat but his old dog finally put him up a big tree and i know it was no trash thats one of the best straightest coondogs ever.

When you put enough heat on them where they have to tree or be caught. They will stay there.
Chances are tho them coon dog pulling up early. Then find track out after you start to them.

ROBERT I KIND OF THINK YOU MIGHT BE RUNNING GREY FOX :o THEY WILL TREE AND JUMP ALOT AT NIGHT IF YOUR NOT QUITE GOING IN, ALSO YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO THE TREE WITH YOUR LIGHT POINTED TO THE GROUND OR OFF.

You probably should go with someone that is killing cats. Something is wrong and I can't tell you from here.
