Oregon Tom

Post by orbowhunter1971 »

Conditions were were nice this past weekend. Headed out Sunday morning, and the cats were really moving. We ended up putting 2 up by early afternoon, and decided to harvest one of the Toms, and leave the other alone to run another day.

He was just a little over 20 pounds, and I'm starting to listen to the more experienced guys about just leaving them in the tree. The dogs don't seem to care if they get some hair, or a hot dog for a reward.

Thanks Curt

BTW, there is Vinny making his second tree. I have some high hopes for that Bruno Anne cross you made. He is really started to get involved.
