Snowtrack conversion kits
I seen a picture of these tracks mounted on quads, just wondering how they work? How do they handle in deep snow? Does anyone have an idea how much they cost? How do they compare to a snowmobile?

They are outstanding in deep powder. Here is a site with most models.

I bought the Cat Tracks this year and love them. My buddy got the Commanders. They are much easier then sleds (I have two of them too)
Just strap a dog box on the back and go. You cannot get them stuck in snow.

Talk to Gary at Perfection Tire in Spokane, WA. (www.atvtracks.net)Straight shooter with the best prices anywhere. You have to have a powerful quad with an automatic transmission. They throw snow like a hurricane and require a lot of gas. The work great, rarely get stuck. Are nice where you run into snow and dirt sporadically.

I agree with catdogs. Most of them say they can run in the dirt all day. Commanders say only for a mile or two. I wouldn't want to run them in the dirt for very long just because they are so rough over rocks. My link above is for Gary at ATVTracks. Great info on his site and like catdogs said, best prices I could find.
