Rankin blue lead dogs
Just wondering if any of you guys run anything that goes back to lead
Re: Rankin blue lead dogs
Nt. Ch. Gr. Ch. Rankin's Blue Lead. Lead is tripled up in some of my dogs back a ways. He is out of Watson's Blue Blue and Watson's Blue Rose. They are bred from Vaughn's Mack, Vaughn's Blue Jack(2X), Vaughn's Bawler (4X), Mountain Music Blue (4X), Mountain Music Blaze, Sandy Creek Warrior (3X), and Perkin's Ghost (2X). Lead was a great old hound and reproducer from what I know. He is a foundation dog of some of the Uchtman line (Uchtman's Blue Cheater and So. Blue Jessie). He was a cream trimmed bluetick. If he put anything in my dogs, I sure like it.

Thanks for the information. I really like the lead dogs and was looking for some more people that had the same line of dogs. The hounds I have now have excellent speed, good locators and will rig or strike of the top of the dog box. Most go back to lead by way of priest blue lead which was by wheatwood blue loud.

Thank you. I'm hoping we can all help each other out with keeping this blood around. I'm still trying to track down offspring of Priest's Lead there in the OK/AR area, but not having any luck.
Will you be coming up for the BBOA reunion? Travis said he was. We should have Big back from OH then and Tiny is planning to hunt him at the reunion. He might be of interest as a stud to you all down there. Or there's now a grandson of our Rebel dog in GA with a friend of Wendell's.
I tried to talk Tiny into applying for some jobs in OK, but he's getting ready to try out a new career path.
You're welcome to call and talk to Tiny anytime, if you'd like. Just PM me for the phone #.
***B.B.BD ---- having any luck with the little guy? I'm looking forward to a pup from him or Tule in the future!***

I don't know depends on how my female that I have been hunting progress whether or not I go to the BBOA reunion. she might be ready and might not only time and shoe leather will tell. I do not know of much of the priest blue lead descendents down here except for the bandit dog jt smith owns and the dogs that go back to claudell steeleys Patch dog which was a son of priest blue lead.
