Time to start the pups

Post by bearpaw992000 »

Well bear season has been over in california now for about a month, down south we really had a bad year this year, we bayed a really nice bear in a culvert opening weekend, don't know how that damm thing fit in that culvert but we were unable to take him due to the fact he bayed on state park property. The next weekend we had 2 bears running together and the dogs had them stopped several times but every time we got close enough to shoot they would run again we kept that up for 7 hours before we finally got the dogs off. So my friend jerry has a couple of nice cameron blue tick pups, so we took them out and did a little coon hunting, the pups are doing really good, they are about 6 months old. Here are a couple of pictures. We also had a couple of walkers and a red tick.
