Those are transplanted yankees poorly pretending to be from Texas.
East Texas had itself invaded years ago and if it wasn't for the check points, they would have made it to West Texas, New Mexico and Arizona!

That is a pretty ridiculous show. If they are wanting the hogs gone then shoot them when you pull up in the field and they are standing there. Don't turn loose your Great Dane to maybe catch one hog. Kill all of them in sight and then turn on the ones that run off. It would do them a world of good to hire some people who have actually hunted hogs before.

hell im a yankee and i coudnt figure out if these hogs were so overpopulated why they werent being shot on sight then putting the dogs down on the ones that run off. they sure were doing some screwing around . why get your dog cut up on a hog you could of already shot . the bottom line was to rid the place of hogs right! it should of been called training hog dogs .it was entertaining for me none the less ,but didnt make a whole lot of sense.

Exactly Kordog. Yankee is a frame of mind not a location.
I guess I said that because of the way they talk and act..
Sure don't sound like locals, but you never know.
And like it was said earlier, if you have a problem, solve it. Shoot the hogs.
If you want to play, use the dogs.

Its all made for tv, I could do without the narrator and his over exagerated comments. As long as it show positive insight on hog doggers Im all for the show. There is no sense in talking down any of there hunting styles on a forum like this, 99% of yall wouldnt say what you do on here to their faces. Everyone has their preference to dogs and hunting style. Im not a "One out" dog hunter but if thats how the fella enjoys hunting, Good for him.

I have to disagree Bucunter1983, just think if they showed people who could actualy catch big numbers of hogs, not just one a episode, it would make the ones they have on there look like the bumbling idots that they actualy are.

Its like those reality shows about Alaska, people in the lower 48 think they are cool and awsome, but everyone in AK thinks they are the most retarted thing on tv, and make jokes left and right about them because they know what actualy gos on behind the scenes, not just whats shown on tv.

Bucunter1983,
It's a bit different here regarding this.
These people are out to do a job and are makiing a silly assed show of it while not putting a dent into the hog population.
If you are going to do a job for someone, do it right.
If you are doing it for fun, then do it anyway it pleases you.
Big difference in my opinion..but, it's just that, my opinion.
