garmin magnet antenna

so the other night went out hunting and somehow ripped the coaxle connector off the end and lost it. Does any one know where i can get a replacement?im thinking about heading to radio shack but other then that im clueless

I believe radio shack has the end, its called an sma. If not e bay or about anywhere online has them.

ok thanks i tried searching ebay but didnt know the correct name so i wasnt real sure what i was looking for

Just went toradio shack and they didn't have it and when I got home realized I should have asked if they could order it

Where at in Washington? if your in SW washington I have the parts to fix it.

I just ordered everything to do them here, But if we have to ship it it's probably not really worth it too much. the connectors are around 5-6 dollars each, I'd have to see I had to special order them from Radio Shack along with the tool to crimp them on.

the won't have the Black cover so it won't be exactly like the way they come from Garmin.

Hey buddy just live in Longview so it's a hop skip and a jump to your town lol ima keep searching locally and if I don't have any luck I will contact you

No problem, Just Let me know. Honestly I haven't even opened up the pakage on the connectors, or the crimp tool.. I just got them in a couple weeks ago.

Any local communications shop should be able to do it for less than 10 bucks.

Go to Cowlitz River Rigging. They will have the right connector.

thanks for all the replies guys and old yeller i was wanting to go there just havent got around to it due to the family coming down with the flu luckily it only lasted 2 days for me

just don't leave them on your truck when you pull up the drive to your house (er my house) the snow laden bushes will overhang enough to topple that antenna across your roof and down the side of the cab........ :oops: did more paint damage to my 97 F250 than the previous 14 years of use did. I did get my hound back safely that night before he got to the highway though......ah, each day I learn something new. Paul Conway
