I dont think its really an issue, the small increase is there to help the club stay open and provide events for us to enjoy during the off season. Plus it just makes the payouts that much more. If you want a say on how things are put together you may become a member and have voting privliages at our monthly meetings. If you would like to find out how to join PM me and I will gladly help you out. I still hope to see you there this year. Thank you in advance.

I was a member for a very long time..I did not like how things were going,so i stopped..the club is asking for $8 more..thats alot for someguys..the club made alot of money over the years.at 10/2..not sure where the funds stand now but the club has made it over the last years..I will still swim my dogs..but it will be 2 dogs instead of four..I bet the dog count will be even lower..whats the pay out going to be??

Well sorry you didn't like the way things were going with the club in previous years. How long ago were you a member? I would like to personally invite you out to a meeting to meet the current club members and officers and talk hound over some pizza. I can assure you that things have been on the move in a better direction for the past few years. The increases were due to the state of California increasing our property lease and in turn our club insurance went up. Plus the club is making a few improvements to the club grounds, all donations from members and additional sponsors. The club will have some awesome donated raffle items at the end of the year from our new sponsors. I'm sorry that the increase will only allow you to swim two dogs instead of four. If you were a long time member you would know that our monthly swim races have always paid out 80% of entries. And depending on the number of dogs that are entered will determine the number of divisions. If you have any additional concerns or questions I encourage you to come to a meeting or you can PM me. I hope to see you at an event or two.
