Greetings ya'all, Aaron here from West Central Oklahoma.

Long story short, longtime dog man ; mostly in the gun dog and treehound variety. Was raised in the Ozark mountains and you were pretty much expected to have a coonhound on hand if you wanted to be accepted socially and not an outcast. As the years progressed , I began spending my winter Saturdays chasing hounds that were, in turn, chasing coyotes. Great memories.

After a stint on active duty military ,I took a job that brought me out here .To the plains. Eventually, I got back into hunting dogs . Being also diehard waterfowler, a Lab was def. in the cards....but eventually I evolved into the long dogs as well and acquired a couple of Stags for catching our coyotes.It's a target rich environment.

With an impending deployment coming up, I got rid of my fast dogs. And then my orders got canceled. Awesome. So I rebuilt my K-9 arsenal which now comprises two Airedales, a BMC cross, and my veteran goose retriever. I figured with a feral hog explosion taking place here as in other regions....I wanted to study up on the nuances of utilizing my dogs for everything they are capable of.And here we are.
