Plott Question...Any Help?

Post by imchestnut »

I came onto this dog in a weird way and don't know really much about him. I was told he was "BeathPath Bred" but that is about the extent of it. Does anyone know anything about that line?

I did a search but couldn't find much. Haven't got a chance to hunt him on bear yet but he seems to have plenty of drive, energy and mouth!

do you have any paperwork on him, otherwise he could be any of a dozen major lines of plotts or even better out of the hundreds of smaller yards with plotts.

I agree with nmplott however if he came right down heavy bearpath gunner then lookout. I have two heavy bearpath dogs right now and holy smokes.....they will knock the socks off a bear! And good noses to boot!

Mine make some darn good lion and bobcat dogs too!

On deer and elk there isn't a dog in the country that will keep up.........OK maybe a walker! :beer

Mine are more saddleback looking dogs.

The quick question is::::::::::::::

Post a pedigree...............

we can help you from there.

Even grade dogs have a pedigree, they all go back to somebody; right?
