you may be able to find a stick used for tree trimming or cable company use. our extendo's reach up to 50' and electrical arch rated. all the sticks that have been mentioned are in the 30' range. which has to be for cable company use or service men. i don't know the availability of those sticks are purchasing.

Recently a friend purchased a new one from a local utility company cost, are you sitting down, $$$480. I can't afford that bill but he can but every section locks securely with a botton release and reaches 35 or 36 feet I used it on 4 or 5 trees works great and the dogs freak out with the fox spinning down the tree.It will make your hair stand up and your eyes bug out  frank

We have one also and they sure do work great, can sure make some young dogs too. I have also used a stick to hit the tree with and it seems to work but not as good as the pole.LOL

up until 3 years ago i had only ever used a round one but when i took my own crew they gave us triangle ones and i wouldn't trade. i must admit i have had some blood blisters still alot easier to hang those 300 amp double tailed fuses with a triangle stick.
