Scott,
You bring up a good point. Being able to keep up with the dogs in order to get the footage is very difficult. The terrain we were in helped a lot just because it was so open. Getting as close to the lion as we did on mules takes good mules and lots of luck... we've got good mules, but rarely have this good of luck!How it usually happens is we have to tie up mid way up the mountain, and hike in... so as I film on the way up there all you hear is huffing and puffing and cussing.... so that usually doesn't make it through the first round of editing...
