"smoke " is a cross of running walker and walker hound and yes hes prob. the most gritty dog and fastest dog i got in my kennel and with the drivers side mirror did happen that day our trucks were parked in the parking lot next to a major road jus incase the dogs broke for that road we could pick em fast so has my friend and i were sitting there a 17 year old girl at 630am went off th rd and plowed into my friends truck which hit my drivers side panel and mirror so in the end he's getting a new truck and i need $4300 of work in the body shop ALL ON HER!! so yea they were some expensive yotes but it didnt dampen our hunt for th day!!

Did any of those coyotes bay up or did you have to run them down. Im wanting to try coyotes with hounds but Im just trying to figure out if it can be done here and what the best dogs a guy would use for catching and holding coyotes. No one out this direction run coyotes so any advice would be greatly appreciated Thanks

How many do catch on the ground and how many do shoot in front of the dogs. Just curious? We use to run them out here around the sheep when one was killing. They caught most on the ground but we got some crossing roads ahead of the dogs. Turning in fresh dogs helped some to catch them also. I know of very few that still run them here. Dewey

we killed 17 in front of the dogs and 3 on bay ups since December we dont run during deer season but im sure alot of the yote wouldve tired if we didnt shoot em quick it seems like the one that keeps getting by us useally gets bayed up an hour into the run. Yotes arent marathone runners so they tire alot quicker then the hounds.
