Cur dogs

I have a stephens cur that I used on bears/lions as well, have had her since she was 2 and going on 13 this year. She was great in her prime, for the last few years she has been laying low which is fine by me.

I keep hearing good things about Stephens and the people who have them seem to like them. . I don't have any experience with them , in fact I don't think I've even seen one in person, I'm wondering why they aren't more common?
