I've had kind of a similar thing happen. My friend and I turned the dogs loose and soon they were treeing then they broke off we went in the direction they first were and found a dead coon they caught and killed. Soon they were treeing again, same thing they left and there was another dead coon on the ground. Soon they were again treeing and finally at a tree with a coon in it. All the coons well good sized. It was pretty cool to see those dogs working so well. All those dogs are now gone but I got a grandson out of my best dog and he's showing a lot of promise.
