Water race this weekend!!!!! (UHCI) April 2nd and 3rd

United houndsmen of California is having their first water race of the year this weekend!!!!

April 2nd and 3rd

entries start at 9am and go til' 10am.

ALL DOGS WELCOME
Entry fee is $15 per dog
Qualifying and semi-finals on Saturday, finals and re-entries on Sunday

Gate fee (donation) $5
there will be a raffle.

The weather should be great!

Theres room to camp, so bring the kids and have a good weekend!
Fishing is allowed.
Bring your own water, as the only water is pond water.

There will be a concession stand on site for breakfast and lunch hours.

sat.was a good day.lots of dogs swam..and no ..then it went down hill for sunday...they do there best but they need help in the both bad,They need alittle help with the moneyI think some goes to the club and some goes in the pocket.we had a great time...just need to get the both better....the one dog walked on water..fast....high bid was 300. i think or it was close.. lots of

was 40 something dogs entered. good turn out i hear.
I myself wasnt there, but i am hearing alot of positive feedback! looking forward to next months races!

seeing as you complained about the price raise, i see you still went to the event regardless of that price change huh?

I think that is just uncalled for and childish. we are here to HELP the club, not take from it. thats like stealing from ourself....just doesnt make sense does it?

All the time,hunter chi...just tell it like it is.and most dont like it....they did the best they could in the both and they need help bad..they could not even come together on final pay out,,That older man they called shorty had to line them out.and still wanted to call him a s.o.b.I just met him sat..and he seems like a nice man. the poeple in both I would not even trust,,,well never mind..the poeple who know just know...NOTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ONE RESTROOM.FOR THE WEEKEND..OVER A 100 PEOPLE .....TELL ME WHATS POSITIVE ABOU THAT...THE WEEKEND WAS FUN...There would of been more dogs swim at 10 bucks than 15..i my self would of had 6 in the water..but not at 15..How many did u swim?Plus not all the officer were on site..its a club they should be there..

I dont even know why I am wasting my time responding to your nonsense Frogger. But If you were a part of the club and knew anything about what was going on , First You would know all club officers were on site and that was the biggest turn out for a swimrace we as a club have had in the past few years. Yay for the 5 dollar increase. As for you, where do you come off calling anyone a thief. I dont believe anyone who was working the BOOTH appreciates you running your mouth on a whim. I believe there was a little of confusion created in the BOOTH, mostly created on my part. I dont believe there was ever a line at the one bathroom. So how about you come down to our meeting Pay up your membership and then you can have a say in how things are run. Im sure you will have something else smart to say because obviously you are a negative person but If you dont like how things go at our club or our events I dont think we will miss you and your slander. Mike, just in case you did not know, it has been raining up here for a couple of weeks and the ground is soft and the pump trucks could not access the grounds or it would've been stuck. There will be two toilets at the next race. As far as you accussing me of being a thief...humm? You just do not know who I am.

No names were mentioned troy..Man u sure have some of the nicest looking redticks around...I like the looks of that drifter dog..Ya i know about the rain.we got 35 inches.here at the house.over in cal-astoga........i would love to come to a meeting but to far of a drive....see u next month..

I helped run that club for a year, and single handed ran the booth that whole year. I know what it's like. I also know that anyone who's ever helped run a club or worked in a booth at an event KNOWS what it's like. Draw heats, keep track of tickets, handle money, answer fifty questions at once from the constant crowd in front of you, get everything figured up for payouts, and in my case do all that, then go jump in the truck, swim my dog, and come back and run back into the booth, write down winners, and deal with 80 people standing in front of you arguing and holding there hand out wanting money...

Only lazy people with nothing better to do will bitch and complain. Yet won't volunteer to help, when apparently they can do so much better. Most of them know just about as much about a club and the people running it as they do about hounds. NOTHING. Because most of there time is spent running there mouth.

the meeting isnt much further then the water races at all.

It always seems that the guy's that don't how things work or know how much work it take to run these events are the first to bitch about how things went.

You all can just come to our next event in raineer OR, just south of the WA, border. it is a wshc (wa state hound council event) last water race we had about 50 dogs in the tree an bear race, an just shy of 100 in the water! its a two day event an both days were run fast with no problems over around 4pm both days. the cheapiest food shack an entries you will find!!! $5.50 for water an tree, an 7.50 for bear! per dog! lots of camping room an water! an a raffle, ive been to several of cali events in support of you guys an when i go i join every club there. just looking for some return support! an Dale T, i will be the first to say i was bitching about elk creek, i welcome you to come check our events out before you say the first too bitch are the ones who dont no anything!!! i will post the dates when i find out under wa. should be one in late july an one or two in aug.

P.S we also have two or three clean toilets on site!
