Depends on what part of the state you want to hunt....I'm sure some where they might be awake but not moving much

My uncle in law saw some tracks on 70. last week in the snow. So they are moving a little but that is the only thing we have seen.

highly doubltfull but i know i will most likely be out looking lol it depends on where in the state you want to hunt, in the high rockies, no, and if they are you will catch them in their den, you best bet would be to hunt the low country in the cedars, they won't be hitting the water holes so you better have a good rig dog, or be damn lucky and cut one on this frozen ground, or just go to a good canyon and take off, but for the most part if you start one they usually don't go to far this early in the year, but lean and mean in the spring, fat and sassy in the far lol thats what i've always been told

I took the pony and my BMC out to stretch their legs this weekend...Oh and I was looking for a bear to fill my tag with too! :) All I saw was a lot of snow on Saturday and a lot of mud Sunday. Theres only a couple of places that I could get to the forest boundary with the horsetrailer in tow. I had a nice ride though, and my pup had a good time playing in the snow.

How about the La Sal's? Any bear activity down there? I would like to go this coming weekend, but it is a log way and a lot of gas if they are still sleeping.
