Going hunting in Greely area for bobcats and fox anyone know about that area??

yeah was born in co. and have family in that area. you have a good choice of farm land, riparian areas, plains or the hills. all have their ups and downs. coon are numerous in most areas and some of the people trying to encourage pheasant pops. maybe a good bet for hunting access. running the bobcats on the plains is a real challenge unless you run tracks in the snow by truck or quad etc. then dump out at the last minute. if you run them as you find them it will take a good pack to rack up any numbers. have fun and be courteous

There is almost no public land in the Greeley area. There is lots of farm land surrounding it though, you will need to get permision of course to hunt there. As for bobcat, I have never heard of much if any bobcat hunting around here. There are fox throughout town so I would guess that there are some in the country as well, but again you will need to get permision.

I have 40 thousand of praviate on a ranch I can hunt. In California I have to stop running my dogs in May because we have a grass that drops there seeds in May called fox tails, dogs inhale them or get in there noses and most case the vet can get them out of the nose but in the lungs it's not so good. Lost a dog last year from a fox tail. So I go to different places over the summer till there gone.
