4/4/2011 Cat
This was a fun chase for the dogs. This cat ran up a thick pine tree. I sat about 50 ft away from the tree looking down at this tree for 20 min trying to locate the cat in the tree and i couldnt see anything, no tree branches moving or snow falling off the tree's. But my dogs were going nuts, so i knew something was up. I didnt see the cat tell i was right under the tree and even then could barely see it. This cat didnt move much at all. Well hope you enjoy the pictures, they were hard to get. Great day out with the dogs, and the best thing is we walked away from this tree and the lone cat in utah is still out there to be ran by someone else. LOL

That's a nice looking cat. Good to see people still out hunting this time of year. I love the spring hunts, the weather is a lot nicer and there's not nearlly as many peolple out hunting. Good job.

Good Pics. thanks for sharing. I love going out in the spring. it's the best time of the year to run the dogs. it's not as cold and there's nobody else out.
