might i suggest you find a book af statutes before you ok it by reading a semi paragraph on baiting. all the rules are not explained in full in the digest and the baiting laws do state it is illegal to turn loose on a bait in north carolina. you should also read general laws county and special restrictions. i also have private property leased in north carolina there are sub laws to the major ones. in 2005 you could only turn 300 yards from a bait on private property that changed in 2006 trust me. i will encourage you to study the game laws very careful and seek out legal interpertation before you end up with a fist full of pink slips and an empty wallet. also read the manner of take too cause that has such a broad interpertation and that law will hang you with your own rope. i hope you take my advice into consideration and if you don't i know the best wildlife lawyer in the state but he aint cheap.
