HEY EVERYONE HOW S THE COONHUNTING GOING? IM FROM WISCONSIN I HAVENT BEEN OUT LATELY SO IM JUST WONDERING HOW EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SEE SOME PICS THANKS = )

Last night made four trees,all had coon in them.The sows are really starting to lay up.

Where I am at the sows have all denned up it seems. still boars around. treed 2 last friday night.

last night i treed one on the first drop, two denners after, and a deer chase to top the night off, i guess we shoulda quit while we were ahead haha

well it was cold rainy and a little bit of snow so i wasnt able to make it out this weekend hopefully next

got a great dane from the animal shelter 2 months ago to be a running buddy for my greyhoundX (fair killdog on coon & other stuff). yesterday coming back from a run up a nearby canyon, saw something running in wheat stubble. pulled over to take a look & the dane jumps out the back & runs down the coon. being her first time on game she didn't seem to know what to do, so i sent the grey in to show her how. she finally got her piece of it, but her inexperienced enthusiasm caused the grey to take some damage he wouldn't have on his own. i look forward to her next one (by herself) and hopefully coyote (with the grey).

Check out "Hog's Gone Wild", Pop's. They have a Great Dane their using as a catchdog and it does a pretty dang good job. I've seen a lot of them that are just big and clumsy but occasionally an athlete come's along.

mine is on the small side and so a lot healthier & athletic. when i get the chance i hope to put her on some hogs, but in the mean time i will let her run coons, cat or coyote as the opportunity permits.
