bobcat trapping sent?

what do you or can you use to trap bobcat? not asking for your secret just a little info thats all

Well first off all you can use here in Cal is cage traps. I use my own cages for bobcat that I have made. You will need to make sure first off your in the right spot with lots of good sign. Then I like to set my traps right off of travel routes, not on them but with in 4-6 feet of them. Then I set my cages to make them a cubby set, I use a good bobcat glad type sent for the cage and a good loud calling type sent above the cubby. I also like to use a visual attractant a few feet above my cubby. A few little things to keep in mind make sure your traps doors or door is rock solid bobcats will find a weak spot. Also I always cover the floor of the cage with sifted dirt.
