Pzazz dog food
Ok fellas fill me in on this pzazz dog food
Re: Pzazz dog food
I learned of it from a friend that used to get it, and his source dried up. I was looking for something that would put weight on the dogs while they were being hunted hard. I called the phone number on the website and ended up talking to the new owner. Mick told me all about the feed-- how it was made, what ingredients were used, all about the needs of a working dog, and on and on. I made a deal to have 5 tons shipped to me, and I sold 3 1/2 tons to other guys around the state. As far as I know, everyone has been happy with the feed. In fact, I ordered another 5 tons to divvy up to others, as I haven't started using mine up very fast. I am feeding a total of 14 dogs, and I haven't used ten bags yet. In fact, I have already had to cut most of my dogs back on the amount of feed, feeding them around 1 to 1 1/2 cups of feed a day. So far, the feed has done everything that I was told it would do and the dogs seem to love it also.

Re: Pzazz dog food
The biggest problem facing Pzazz right now seems to be distribution. The plant that is closest to us in the west is in Iowa. That leads to a lot of stinking freight. In AZ, I would suggest getting hold of one of the two dealers. I don't know where one guy is, but Sam Dieringer is in Pima, AZ. I would think that he could get the feed to you in Az for a reasonable price.
Mick (the owner of Pzazz) is talking to a mill in Lubbock, Tx, but hasn't made a deal yet. If he gets the deal made, the cost of the dog food should drop out west because of the difference in freight.
I also believe that Sam buys a complete load (20 or 22 tons) at one time. This enables him to make a better deal on the freight. In order to buy only 5 tons, I have to use Fed Ex Freight.
Mick is also looking for a distribution company to handle the feed in order to be able to move it all over the west.
I have had guys come from as far away as Hatch, Nm, about 4 1/2 hours away, and Logan, Nm, about 5 1/2 hours away.
I think that it might be cost effective to buy small amounts from a dealer, and have it freighted by a smaller company.
I am not a dealer, just doing this to get the feed for me. I pay full price too.
