well, here's how the story goes. got a good rig on a big boar, bayed him for over an hour but could never get close enough for a shot. got all the dogs back around noon and decided to go walk a canyon and try to get back on him. dogs blew out and within 20 minutes they were treed! walked up and found that the trashy sob's had a cat. half the pack was there and the other half had blown back down the canyon towards the truck. the guys at the truck loaded those dogs and we started walking that way with the rest. all of the sudden the dogs started actin like they were gona blow out and a bear comes out of a tree and runs right passed us! it was on. bear circled the ridge with half a pack on his butt and we cut him off and he climbed! kid with the tag debated on shooting it but it was way small and the gun was back at the truck so we pulled dogs and headed home. good time had by all!

Gotta hate when that happens Jared! Damn dogs putting up cats in bear season. Pretty little bear though, too bad he wasnt a whole lot bigger. Im sure your tag holder had a good time regardless!
the sad part is that those little bobbers get away from me 90 percent of the time on snow but every spring I tree a few on accident on the dirt. ???????
