New in California

Hi there. I've been running with some houndsmen friends for quite a few years now. This year, they finally talked me into doing it myself (with my husband's help.) They gave me three Walker pups from a litter, so I'm starting with them. We've got some experience and some equipment, but not quite enough of either. I figure we'll either learn on the fly or run away screaming, but they haven't been able to run me off yet.

I'm from the Central Valley. We hunt around the D-6 area. Where exactly depends on where the bears are, but we camp up there for the whole season.

welcome to the great sport of hound hunting, i too am from the central valley well actually from above it (squaw valley) That is a good looking bear your kid got and those pups are excellent looking i hope they turn out to be excellent dogs for you!
