Mine works great when I can keep it on the dogs. I've got a plot female that somehow manages to get hers off. I'll put it on and a few days later it's laying in the floor of the kennel. :?: She either has an opposable thumb I'm not seeing or somebody is screwing with me.

The tri-tronics is the very best .. I had 4 of different makes... the sensors on the other brands are junk and not reliable. You will have to keep a close eye on the dog's neck for sore spots where the contacts touch the neck. My advice would be not to leave them on more than 3 days at a stretch

has anyone tried a kennel silencer? I have wondered if those were as effecient at eliminating barking like no bark collars?

I have a tri tronics bark collar that was brand new with a battery that was suppose to be good for a year The dog that I put it on wore out the battery in TWO days. I nolonger have the dog.I still have the collar and it works good on my other dogs. watch for hot spots on there neck.
