Well in the wake of the train wreck from the lion hunting episode in the spring. The Utah Houndsmen Association helped Adam Eakle do an episode on bear pursuit, spring in southern Utah. The show will air on saturday 06-11-11@ night 1100 pm channel 2.

Let me know what you all think?

Just fyi we did have the 1 and only "dawg" with us the last day. But apparently because of the new sponsor he picked up we couldnt air him on the show. We wish DAWG and "KOTEX FEMININE PRODUCTS" best of luck!!

The mighty "blood and guts Bettis" fresh off his "circumcision infection" who lost his sponsor made air time.

Tune in watch the train wreck.
I hope this wont start the WAR like last show. Behave TONY ABBOTT!!!!!

As long as you didn't shoot a female yearling and call it a trophy you should be able to avoid a train wreck. Thanks for supporting the houndsman in Utah and fighting for us.

Yep, anywhere there is a camera you can count on Dawg showing up....kinda like Nolte at a beer bash or Sourdough at a STD clinic. The fact that most of the footage of Dawg ended up on the cutting room floor is also not a surprise, he just ain't as photogenic as someone like myself.

That is the only reason for doing the show. Promote a positive image of hound hunting, as well just maybe unite the houndsmen out west.

I thought it turned out good Black Eye! For all the negative ways hound guys are sometimes portrayed, I thought Adam did a great job and represented you hillbillies well.

Kev, I'm a bit bummed out because when I showed up I was told it was all over and he was gone home. Then we bumped into Black Eye on the mountain and he introduced me to the host of the show, Adam. I was bummed out because I had one of those cool mullet wigs back in camp I was going to wear under my cowboy hat and have Achey Breaky Heart blasting on the stereo as I climbed out of the truck in my skin tight starched and pressed Wranglers. Make a real impression on the guy ya know? Instead I have to meet him wearing a baseball cap and baggy jeans with Blood 'n Guts playing some Gangsta Rap song. Damn.

But I thought Adam did a nice job with it and showed it how he saw it... a couple of guys and families that enjoy hunting with each other and like running bears. I didn't see them shoot the TV show, but the few days after I was there we had a lot of laughs, some good food, and watched a lady fill her bear tag with her husband and kids under the tree... oh ya and the wind blowing about 70 all day long.

I have since had some conversations with Adam about doing a spin-off to Roughin' It Outdoors called Spandex Outdoors... where me and a few other buff hound guys would star in the show and hunt various species with our dogs, hunting off mountain bikes, fully clad in Sponsored Spandex riding outfits.

Black Eye, if the Hound club is interested in sponsoring me we can talk money. We could get a Hound Club logo on my riding helmet or something. And whatever dog gets to the tree first, that guy wears the Yellow Jersey to hunt the next day. Adam is pretty excited about that show and why the hell wouldn't he be?

Me in my hot pink 'n chartreuse riding outfit going up the trail with dogs in tow.... If that don't spell RATINGS I don't know what does.

I think some single track hipster bikes or maybe a beach cruiser would be a little more appropriate IF rollerblades are out of the question!
