I'm heading to the counsil area this Saturday night to try out some new country for a week or so. I've never been nor have hunted there. If anybody is in the area that wouldn't mind showing a fella around it would be appreciated. I'm not a competitive hunter nor am I biast. I own about one of every breed out there. Just thought it would be time for an adventure.
I can be reached at 208-520-1570

Re: Idaho Unit 32
hey nate head back toward bear and coprum and of main road you will see signs for OX ranch and lick creek that is some really good stuff if you get in lick creek area fawn creek and think it was doe creek where awwsome if you cant get rig free cast into thick creek bottems you will get one started every time. But really all that area is good stay to the west of the main highway you will be in unit 22 which is a trainin zone also with more bears and less people normally, unit 32 and 32a have alot of people normally just my 2cents

If you can hold off a little while longer I would, there is still alot of snow up there, depending where you are heading you won't make it very far, and if you get one that wants to go over the top you will be walking along ways. This is one of the mildest springs we've seen in a long time. I just took my tracks off my wheeler few days ago, and thinking maybe should have waited another week or two. Just my 2 cents, but wouldn't want you to drive all the way over here and be disappointed. You can get around low and there is some rds, but still pretty deep up high. Just letting you know.
