cali a zone?

how many of you cali guys run a zone? dnt want your spot just want to know cause ive been spending some time up there and it a thick brushy step mother jus wondering since its less than 2 months away

I have hunted down there a few times. Nice that it opens before ours up here, but its not very nice hunting thats for sure.

The area i hunted last year did not take long to strike a hot bear track.. But the country was brushy and if they would have went over the wrong hill we would have to go a long ways to get to them. I heard people lose dogs in that hole for days. But the bear we caught had the little man syndrome going on.... Then he wanted to play yoyo for a while...

Yep, I've hunted that country a little over the years before our season opens and last year when we were snowed out of the woods here. Is all I can say is if someone loses their dogs for days, they better learn to lace up their boots in the morning because ya may not take them off till dark. Mike

yeah all my buddies are scared to hunt it they just want to wait me i wanna go but kind hard to run 1 dog in that country

brush country.bears do not want to tree there. and it is way to hot to be killing them. bring some terriers. or it will be a long day and night.

Its a great place to test the grit of your dog, those bears are tuned up well, and enjoy a good fight.
