Re: Halliburton
I don't work for them but I have worked WITH them alot on the past. I live in Vernal and they have alot of people here who work for them. My brother in law and brother also used to work for them here. They probably aren't the best company to work for in the sense that with a big corporation you are just a number. Halliburton epitomizes that. Depending on your skills you can probably get a better oilfield job depending on where it is that you are wanting to live/work. If you have no skills that translate into the oilfield, they are a great company to work for. They hire completely inexperienced people and train them. Including CDL training. All of that said, if they are hiring somewhere in Idaho, I'd be the first on the list for a job. I'd love to be able to make a good living in Idaho. I'd move today.
Don't buy the hype.

I wish they were doing work in Idaho. Working for them in Williston ND now. Two weeks on a one week off....which is paid. Figured there might be some people that work for them on here.
Re: Halliburton
Dan,
how and when did you get hired on? I heard they're looking for help but can't get any info off their website. My buddies worked for Hali years ago out of Kimball NE, I drove a tanker truck for a local guy.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks, Tom.

I've tried searching there too, with no luck. I posted a ND inquiry over on weldingweb with 0 responses.
I haven't looked on AWS though.
Thanks all for the links and contacts though.

Re: Halliburton
No companies hire over the internet. You have to make the drive to apply. Ive have filled out 100 apps on the computer and never got a response and i have alot of experience. when i made the drive i had a job at the first place i went. I had 2 buddies with no experience come over looking for jobs and when they went to halliburton they were told to come back the next day to do there drug tests and paper work and this was 2 weeks ago. I promise you will get a job if you go. Theres another frac company called cal-frac that has a huge sign in there yard saying immediate help wanted.
