ill be around onaway from aug 6-22 this summer. were do you usually run at? i take my two hounds with me and do some coon hunting, but a bear race might be fun. shouldnt be hard to find a bear track up there, i allways take two 4wheelers with me. just a little nervous about wolves, allmost hit on my 3-wheeler on black mountain last summer. a deer ran right in front of me and there was a wolf right on its a**. i hate wolves...

Bearhunter611 where are you located? I am up in the Charlevoix area and work swing shift so I know how it is when everyone is hunting on the weekend and I'm stuck working then when I'm off and ready to go everybody is working. If you want to hook up and hunt I'm game.

Cox I don't live to far from ya, I'm from Central Lake. I'm down for Hunting some game with you anytime during the week. Run bear in the summer and cats/yotes come winter. Just shoot me a PM and we can figure some stuff out.

Marcel, I'd run a bear with ya in august if you fell your dogs would run one. I used to run by myself all the time when i had a couple dogs because i knew if the bear was to stop and fight they would all be there to help eachother out. Dont do in now with only having one dog, too good of a hound to have killed like that. even tho he has treed his own bear on a couple different occasions, and thats only cause they were bear that tree easy. Far as where i run i'd say all over, typically from Graying to East Jordan.
