Anyone running Gascons on bear?

Looking for info on how well they hold up?.....and......what type of speed they have? any info would be great.........

There are TONS of folks that run AND TREE bears with gascon type hounds. I use my gascons on coon mainly but also use them on bear and hogs. They do just fine!
They got plenty of nose and depending on what type of dogs the others you hunt with have...your gascon might be the only dog on the trail! They got plenty of grit and will stay with the game until you get there. Plus an added bonus is that your gascon will most likely have the better voice than the other dogs in your huntin group. You will not be disappointed!

Thanks for the reply!I hear ya on the voice!The foot speed seems to be there as well.I was real surprised with how well they really do.This big fella seems pretty agile for his size.Looking forward to getting him under a few trees this season.Thanks again!!!!!
