What part of Iraq are you going to? what is your MOS? I served 2 tours, one in Taji, in 05 and the other at camp spiker in 07.... Hope you liek sand and blow dryers... thats what it felt like to me... someone throwing sand in my face nonstop while someone else held a heat gun to my head... keep your ass down man!

Don't over stress yourself unless its truly needed. Take your decompression time serious when its available and do whatever you can to relax. Not much you can do about the weather heat or cold they have some extreme shit over there probably why there's so many nuts over there. The rest are some laid back happy nuts. No but the culture is different then most countries Don't get lazy regardless of your units heroes comments. Put your armor on every time. And there's jackals all over there. Good luck buddy
