Looks like it will work well and you have more storage up top. I used to hunt out of some of those rigs several years ago but out here ya get a ticket if you get caught caught on different roads so I built a samauri thats street leagal. Mike

Looks great I wanta do something similar only thing I'd watch out for is rig dogs on top may be vulnerable to tree branches cause heads may be above roof. Looks great though just showed pic to my welder.

The top rack was never designed for dogs just cargo. I agree that it is to tall to put dogs on top.
