the only reason I dare say that is I have hunted with him and he has some nice plotts! We give each other sh*t all the time. really though, what is plott days?

in march and april in south carolina there are 2 plott events. i guess one is sponsored by the american plott association and the other by the national plott assc. these used to be big game events where people came from all over the country to compete in bear and hog bays. I think all the hound breeds have a gathering every year somewhere in the country where they have competition coon hunts. this could be what this plott days is all about but there may be some more that i dont know about. i quit going to them when they started wussing out and building fake bears when the eco-terrorist got pissed about the events. wherever it is, hope you guys have a good trip.

oswald, what you are refering to is the Big game nationals.

Plott days is in August usually, and is when the NPHA gets together and has their annual meeting. They vote on new board memebers and other things like big game dogs of the year, Hall of Fame dogs, as well as have UKC sanctioned events. It is usually a 3 day event, with many people going earlier to catch up with friends from different parts of the country.
