New to the board.

Postby jtigner » Sat Jul 30, 2011 7:15 pm

I'm John from Mississippi. I hunt curs on squirrel and coon. I really would like to start my dogs on bobcats, however, I don't have a clue on how to do this or if it can even be done. We have a few bobcats, but I don’t know how to get the dogs started on them. In addition, I know nothing about hunting them other than I have read that they are very hard to hunt and ruff on the dog. Thanks for letting me join this awesome board.

You should check out the Bobcat section for tips on hunting them, There's always some good info for whatever you may need in one of the section or another. Just check around first before posting, some of your questions may have been answered in an older posting.

Thanks for the advice Marty. I am going to read those post. I have two Kemmer curs that really hate cats. I just have to figure out what I need to do inorder to get them around a bobcat. I know NOTHING about bobcats or hunting them. Thanks again for your help.
