Garmin questions
im running the Garmin Astro 220 with a dc 30 collar the factory antenna get's me + or - 31 feet .on a total cloud covered sky and in side the house . it seems to only run off of 5 satelights at any given time outside , so i just recently bought the extended range antenna from the local sporting goods store , that one has me running on right around 8 inside the house . love it and inside the house its got me + or - 25 feet with a low of +/- 22 feet . what is every ones thought on the extended range antenna ..... im liking what im seeing so far have yet to really use it in the field yet just little tests out side and inside the house

Re: Garmin questions
The extended range antenna is ok when needed, but I have only needed a few times. DU Graphics sell a extended antenna which pulls out and is better than the stock antenna, and just shy of the range of the long range antenna. I think its well worth the $$$.
