I have a pack of black and Tans and two males are becoming aggressive toward one another. How will neutering affect hunting ability? Ambition? Energy?
Thanks Much!

Just do a search, this topic has been beaten to death. In short, neuter them, it wont' affect a thing.

Re: To neuter or knot?
I have the same problem, in fact my two best males have gotten into it 3 times in the last month. They used to be buds and hang out without incident but i had a female coming out of heat and they got out of the kennels when my young daughter was cleaning them and they got after each other, now they are barking through the kennels at each other when im at work. I snuck home today and caught them and put some new thoughts into their heads. I had them cut 3 weeks ago and i heard or read it will take several months to get the testosterone down and gentle them up. I sure hope it works cause i would hate to get rid of them, as they are two of my best dogs. I know this has been beaten to death but i was wondering if i waited to long to cut them and its to late or should it help fix the problem as time goes by? They dont seem aggressive when im with them, just when my wife or daughter go out to clean or help feed.

Just to let everyone know, when you cut a dog you do it like a hog or horse rather than like a bull. Another wards cut each nut out individually. You'll make a cut for each nut going long ways then pull them out and cut them off. You'll also want to pull them out as far as you can before cutting them out.
