UHC Open Water race/ Gun Raffle/ Tree Contest Aug 6th & 7th

The United Houndsmen Of California will be having their last water race of the year the weekend Of the 6th and 7th of Aug. $10 entry per dog. This will be a two day event. Qualifying and heats Sat, Re-entries and Finals Sun. There will be concessions and food for sale on site. Fresh water is not available (pond water only) so bring water. Room for camping and trailers for over night, no trailer hookups.

There Will also be a treeing contest held both days. $5.00 entry per dog.

We will also be having a raffle of many donated items. This includes: hunting, outdoor, dog supplies, dog food, and other additional items.

On a separate raffle, we will be raffling off a Henry Golden Boy .22. There will be a limited number of ticket's available for this gun. Tickets will be $10.00 ea. Dont miss out on this opportunity.

Directions- From I-5 north or south take twin cities road exit. Head west on twin cities. Club ground are on right hand side of road about half mile from I-5. if you go over the river you have traveled way to far.

Everyone that can needs to come out to this event and support this club. If you have never been to this pond it is by far the best swim pond around! The new officers in this club are trying to get things going again and it has been a struggle. Please come and enjoy a good time, lets get it going again and get them doggies wet!!!

Raffle will be Sunday. There have been a lot of nice items donated for this raffle including the Gun. I sure hope to see everyone out there.

Thanks to everyone who made it out to the events this weekend. There were Houndsmen and women from far and wide. We love seeing new faces and welcome all to come back next year. We appreciated all of your support. I would like to thank all of the club members who helped make this another successful event ( I wont name who but we all know who you are). Thanks again and I hope had everyone had a great time. And congratulations to all the winners. I will have to post a dog count tomorrow when I get a final or someone else can chime in if they know.
