FYI the northern rac saw the light and voted to reject the changes, but where were representatives from any utah hound clubs?? Everybody was fired up until it came time to show up. All those that did and put alot of effort into it, thank you very much. By the way where did the clubs officially stand on this? Also I think it is time that we push for representation on each and every rac. Every other hunting group, agriculture interest, birdwatcher, etc has a voice in the process and a spot on the racs. Any thoughts..

I tried to get ahold of Steve Giles and got no return, when I talked to some of the other NUBGHA representatives they didnt seem too interested. I wanted to attend but had business to attend to in Morgan.

Been to a ton of racs....not gonnna waste any more gas money, the results are the same!

We will attend the board meeting august 18th Salt Lake and I doubt vey much they will listen or even have a conversation about our concerns. THIS PLAN IS THEIR IDEA.

More than likely throw out the northern racs recomendations. Just like they have in the past. We have to catch on to what these clowns are doing to us.

It is kinda Ironic that Dave would show up to a RAC meeting in the first place, unless it was to give his approval of the new plan. Even he couldnt hit the female sub quota they set

Well EXACTLY as we had thought it would go it did!!!

The wildlife board ignored the northern racs vote!!!!

They changed the n.e regions to harvest objective thanks to byron bateman (SFW) and josh horrocks opinions. Both houndsmen or so they claim?????

The split opening date will remain the same.

Wade lemon and Kim Payne were ignored along with all houndsmen!!!

The Utah Houndsmen Association rep was completely disappointed with the board and the ASSUMPTION that lion are the reason for poor adult survival STILL!!!

They stated that the collared deer study are below 85% survival. They still dont follow up and see WHAT IS KILLING THESE DEER!!!! Guess how much money they spend on this study and still dont know what is killing deer?????

The reason for more lion harvest is they need to do everything possible to save deer, so they say.

Apparently when the deer come back we can have a sport again.
